Yes, I’m a champagne snob (lol), well sorta. I just love the bubbles and the whole frivolity of champagne. So of course as we get ready for the next holiday, Valentines Day, I thought I’d share some fabulous champagne cocktails that I found on Bloglovin’s post (9 Champagne Cocktails to Kick Off The New Year 2017 that is). I’ve already found some new favorites for my palette. Cheers!
Bold Reds to Blush
You can see the other recipes on the link above, I wanted to focus on Valentine colors!
Zerrin at Give Recipe also has a similar recipe for Strawberry Margaritas, which I know I’ll be creating for Cinco de Mayo.
Raspberry and Pomegranate Rose Cocktail
This Raspberry and Pomegranate Rosé Summer Cocktail is made with mint infused honey simple syrup, gin, pomegranate juice, and sparkling rosé. It is served with fresh raspberries, pomegranate seeds, and mint. It is such an impressive cocktail for any summer gathering.
Pomegranate Vanilla Sparkling Wine Cocktails
Make sure you have a bottle (or two) of Cupcake Vineyards Sparkling Red, well chilled. This vibrant, naturally sweet red bubbly wine is bursting with aromas and flavors of black cherry, berries, vanilla and nutmeg.
To enhance the jammy fruit flavor of the wine, Lori paired it with a touch of pomegranate juice. She also wanted to really bring out the natural vanilla flavor of the wine by adding just a smidge of vanilla extract to the cocktails. Garnishing with vanilla beans is entirely optional, but oh so pretty.
Clementine Cranberry Prosecco Cocktail
An easy-to-make Clementine Cranberry Prosecco Cocktail sweetened with a homemade honey-sweetened cranberry and rosemary simple syrup. A delicious and seasonal cocktail recipe that is perfect for all your upcoming holiday celebrations.
Cranberry Orange Champagne Mimosa
This simple two-ingredient Cranberry Orange Champagne Mimosa (plus garnish) cocktail is perfect for holiday parties or Valentines (I changed this from Shelly’s Christmas morning). Dress it up with an orange slice and candied rosemary or keep it simple with just the juice and champagne.
I liked her quick little BIO: Shelly is the creator of Vegetarian Ventures. She is also the Creative Director of Driftless Magazine and likes to wear wolf shirts, drink peppermint tea, and dance to Stevie Nicks. (LOL)
