Yes, it’s that time of year again… when we hope that people are Grateful, can find Gratitude, are Happy, or can find some Happiness! It doesn’t have to be about Thanksgiving, (personally I’m not a big Thanksgiving celebrator) I just like FALL! I’m grateful for the fall colors, the change of season, for getting to sometimes layer comfy, cozy clothes and when I see/hear people talk about the Thanksgiving Gatherings I love it! Yes, the stress of the holidays is also upon us. But, it’s learning to NOT hold onto those stresses is one of the greatest GIFTS you can give yourself (and others)!!
Here are some tips from other posts as well, just to remind us. Above all, please get out, take some fun fall photos and LAUGH, LAUGH, LAUGH…

10 Habits of All Happy Girls – by the ZoeReport
If you’ve ever received a random compliment—especially if it’s from a woman you don’t know—you’re aware of how game-changing it can be for your day. Don’t be shy—if you admire someone’s style, smile or just general aura, don’t be afraid to say so. (Just don’t be creepy about it. You’re a woman—you know the difference between wanted attention and Trump attention.) (This is one of my favorite things to do – I love to give strangers random compliments, and sincerely mean them – i.e., if I like someones hair, outfit, smile, etc. and I love to help out when I see people in need).
Asking everyone and their brother what they think about your current relationship or job or any other life circumstance can only lead to unhappiness. There’s a reason you feel defensive when people give advice, and that’s because you don’t need it. You have the answers for your own life, and if you’re feeling lost it’s because you’re not listening to that inner voice. Ask for inner advice and outer support and you’ll be a happier person. (So true, in fact I have to learn to NOT give advice – i.e., when I’ve tried to offer it to my sister, she debates what I’ve said, and I realize that she just needs to be heard. And like myself, I have ALWAYS know that I am the ONLY ONE that can make my life what I want it to be, so same for advice, stop whining and listen to yourself – teehee)
3 Things to Change in Order to Start Living Your Best Life – by MyDomaine
Believe it or not, happiness is a choice—whether you decide to spend your years analyzing the past, worrying about the future, or pursuing your best life today is entirely up to you.
CREATE YOUR OWN HAPPINESS
Many people either reflect on what they wish they could change in their past, or look to their future for good fortune. But happiness lies in the present moment—and the power to create it is in your hands. “Every second you waste waiting for happiness is a second you could have been using to create it,” writes BI. “The happiest people aren’t the luckiest, wealthiest, or best-looking; the happiest people are those who make an effort to be happy.”
LIVE IN THE MOMENT
Living in the moment will give you a newfound appreciation for all the little things in life, however mundane. “It’s impossible to be happy if you’re constantly somewhere else, unable to fully embrace the reality (good or bad) of this very moment,” concludes BI. Try reading up on mindfulness and start by accepting and embracing the pitfalls of your past.
The One Thing You Should Do Every Day to Be Happy – by Career Girl Daily – Emma Orlando
According to Robert Emmons, the world famous author of ‘Thanks!‘, “gratefulness is knowing awareness that we are the recipients of goodness”. Basically, Emmons is saying we should recognize the good in what we have. Sounds pretty straightforward, doesn’t it? But in a world where we’re constantly busy, we are all guilty of not taking enough time to reflect on the goodness in our lives. It’s easy to express gratitude for the momentous occasions, but then we overlook the little things in life.
