Well last nights office holiday party was a success. But I did miss seeing a lot of other people there. Thank you Kate for all of your facility help and also for working at our check-in desk but also for letting me help with the set-up/tear-down and also for bringing home the flowers. They smell amazing and look gorgeous.
As an event planner, its always amusing what you end up still filling your vehicle with – you take some items and then still manage to bring some back. We drove home with a VERY filled vehicle last night.
The venue looked beautiful, the band was fun and fabulous, our signature drinks were well received and the food was perfect. I loved seeing people dressed up and even some who managed to dress for the theme – speakeasy/prohibition (Carol and Paul) won the NYE prize for best dressed and I hope they enjoy their evening!
Sadly, since I work the event I was only able to take a few photos and appreciated Michael (BF) for taking my phone and trying to snap some more for me. Hopefully I can get copies from our onsite photographer (thank you Dillon) to share with you all. Here are a few as we set up the event and some from Michael during…
(Photo area – Police Booking Loft)
(The gorgeous florals – following buffet)
(Our ‘fake’ store front window – remember in prohibition days this was what ‘clubs/bars’ really did)… (thank you Dirk for taking our photo – although yours and Amanda’s turned out much better – but it must be the young love!) lol
But I want to thank all of my colleagues who attended and made my work (event) a fun one! I love seeing so many smiling faces, dancing (Sherry F. you both so made my night) and hope that this was another successful event that you enjoyed!
(Learning swing dance lessons).
Happy, happy holidays!
