This is based on one my favorite books with the same name, “A New Plan for Success and Well-Being from Today’s Most Celebrated Women” – Women to Women by Christina Lessa.
“The skill of surviving adversity – and actually growing in wisdom and strength because of it – is a skill all women can develop. We are often too busy to stop and wonder about the how and the why in the way we are living…”
I want US to find that and share it!
“Watch your thoughts, they become words;
watch your words, they become actions;
watch your actions, they become habits;
watch your habits, they become your character.”
— MARGARET THATCHER
Margaret Thatcher is remembered for much more than being the first female Prime Minister of Britain — her uncompromising politics and leadership style earned her the nickname “Iron Lady”. Margaret knew what many great leaders throughout history have known: that our thoughts are incredibly powerful. In fact, almost all of our actions and emotions begin as thoughts. Think this morning about the type of character you’d like to be remembered for. Words like honest, fair, hard-working, and steady might come to mind. Or maybe you want to be warm, fun-loving, adventurous. Or perhaps descriptions like loving, kind, and gentle resonate most with you. Whoever you want to be, you can become. It all begins with your thoughts.
